Privacy Notice
This page explains which personal data we process, why, on what legal basis, with whom we share it, and your rights under Turkish data protection law (KVKK).
Data controller

What we process
Contact form: name, institution, email, phone (optional), topic and your message.
Newsletter: your email address and the date of your consent.
Akdan Assistant: your conversation, the page you were on and your language; if you fill in the contact card inside the conversation, name, email, phone and institution.
Technical data: your IP address on form and assistant requests, solely to prevent abuse and only briefly.
Purposes and legal bases
Answering your enquiry and discussing the service you asked about: KVKK art. 5/2-c (necessary for a contract) and art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest).
Sending the newsletter: KVKK art. 5/1 (explicit consent), given through the checkbox on the form and withdrawable at any time.
Letting Akdan Assistant answer your question and pass your request to our team: KVKK art. 5/2-f. Conversations are processed by an AI service; the assistant’s answers are not binding advice.
Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse: KVKK art. 5/2-f.
Sharing
Your data is shared with Pumpmedya (GrowthOS), which operates the site infrastructure and the customer relationship system on Akdan’s behalf. Hosting and email providers and the AI service provider process data only as far as the service requires and under contract. Their servers may be located abroad; such transfers rest on your explicit consent or the safeguards foreseen by the Board under KVKK art. 9.
Your data is not sold or handed over for marketing unless the law requires it.
Retention
Contact and assistant records for at most two years after your request is closed; newsletter records until you leave the list; security IP logs for at most thirty days.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses no third-party cookies or advertising trackers. Visit statistics are measured with Google Analytics, which sets first-party measurement cookies in your browser and sends Google usage data that does not include your name or contact details. Your theme preference lives in your browser’s local storage and your assistant conversation only until the tab closes. Videos in the broadcast strip load nothing from YouTube until you press play; playback uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com).
Your rights
Under KVKK art. 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to, request correction, deletion or destruction, request that these be notified to those third parties, object to a result produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
