Akdan Consultancy founder Nilüfer Arıak was the guest on the 8 November 2026 edition of Manşet TV’s Gündem Özel (Agenda Special) programme, presented by lawyer Elif Sevinç. The programme addressed the risks of foreign trade, in particular insurance, transport and country risks.
The broadcast drew on examples from practice to assess the differences between letters of guarantee and letters of credit, the legally independent standing of contracts, letters of credit and insurance policies, cargo and receivables insurance, general average and force majeure. Arıak stressed that entering international markets is a strategic decision that calls for planning and a budget.
