Akdan is led by its founder’s thirty-plus years in finance and management.

Nilüfer Arıak
Nilüfer Arıak founded Akdan Consultancy in 1995. Over a career spanning more than thirty years she has led strategy, financing and restructuring processes for hundreds of institutions across the public and private sectors.
She graduated from the Department of Economics and Statistics at METU and pursued postgraduate studies at Ankara University’s Faculty of Political Sciences.
She held general manager and board chair positions in the finance sector in Türkiye and abroad, and left a general manager role in 1995 to found Akdan Consultancy.
Today she continues to serve as board chair and board member at various companies, and appears on television programmes and professional trainings with her views on the economy.
On every engagement Akdan works with experts from the disciplines the job requires, bringing the right knowledge in valuation, financing, law and sustainability to the right table.
