The training under the Institutional Capacity and Advocacy Strengthening Project, part of the “Strong Civic Space for Gender Equality” programme run by UN Women with European Union funding, was held at the 29 Ekim Kadınları Derneği (29 October Women’s Association) on 20 and 21 September 2026. It was delivered by Akdan Consultancy founder Nilüfer Arıak.
Over two days the association’s institutional capacity and advocacy work were addressed: building the advocacy message, bringing women’s rights onto the agenda, and the routes for applying to grant programmes open to civil society organisations.
